In 1911 the Communist revolution in China began. Lasting until 1949, it ended with the communist party being victorious and Chairman Mao becoming the new leader of China. The new Communist country would become important factors in the next two major American conflicts as well as a source for economic opportunities for American businesses.

The Feminist Movement is a movement among women reaching back into the 19th century with women’s suffrage, the right for women to vote.. It was mainly about combating sexism and unfair treatment of women in domestic and business settings. Feminists have won may victories in the fight for sexual equality and continue to pave more uncharted paths for all of womankind.
